just had my appointment and I don't know if i have pcos technically because she described what it was, but instead of having all the cysts, when my egg develops, it doesn't fully develop and it dies off basically and then i start af so my eggs never reach full maturity. so I'm getting bloodwork done to make sure i don't have high blood pressure or insulin resistant from diabetes that could develop with pcos then i guess I'm getting back on bc pill for a couple months to regulate then see what happens and if nothing happens we will see about stuff to help with ovulation

im pcos too. they draw blood to check androgen levels (testosterone) etc. while mine was normal they put me on metformin to manage pcos

she said she can put me on that too but said to try going back on bc depending on my blood work to get my cycles regular then see what happens @twinpeanut

My gym told me maybe the pill will help my hormones balance, but I never has so she put me on metformin. If that doesn't work she said come back in January and we can try met and clomid. oy vey.

I probably won't be able to do it without it either its going to be like 3 or 4 more months and I'm afraid my eggs still won't fully mature enough and thats what worries me @halibug

Who knows maybe that's all you need, metformin. I'm taking pregnitude to hopefully help my eggs mature better.
