okay, I'm gonna rant for a sec.
my step daughter is 15 months old. when she was about 9mos, we(her mom, dad, me and step dad) discussed and decided that extended rear facing was safest and that we wouldnt turn her forward facing until AT LEAST 2 years. shes always been small and we all know the benefits of rear facing, so it was a no brainer for us. well, scott went to her 15month appt today, and her mom flipped her carseat! i understand that people turn their kids at every age, but the fact that we ALL discussed and made a decision FOR HER SAFETY and she just changes her mind without talking to us is not ok to me. ugh. rant over.
Idk how to even feel about this. My step daughter lives with us because her mom abused her. Told us the other day she wants to go back to her moms. Annie is the one who came to us with these problems with her mom and we been in and out of court for a year. Her dad paid so much on a lawyer which I told him not too. Attended the parenting class they had her mom go to, we got her tutoring, made sure she stayed in school, make sure she never runs out of her meds, we make sure we are doing everythin...
How long do you guys keep your kids rear facing? My daughter will be 3 in September and I still rear face her, she also hasn’t hit 22 pounds yet either.
Rant!
My sitter used cottonelle wet wipes on my baby! Now she has huge rash!!! I totally get that my SO forgot to put the wipes in her diaper bag. But she could have told one of us and we could have brought her some or she could have went to the store and I could pay her back. I don't get it. She buys her clothes and toys, takes her places while I'm at work. The store is literally a 5 minute walk from her house. But she decided cottonelle wipes are ok? Ugh. Rant over.

Longtime mom.life mom @lovinglittlelyvia posted this: Tonight we will say our tearful goodbyes to the little girl who has blessed us with her short life. She will live on in our hearts and prayers, while she waits for us in Heaven. We are broken but we pray that we find some type of closure in saying goodbye and leaving this hospital for the last time.
