I've got a dr appointment tomorrow regarding my pelvis and hips as they are making it really hard…

@weddingbaby2016, I work in retail and when I went to go on maternity leave I took all my holiday first then my maternity started after :) x

@abbiiqx, but I'm not sure if it's different if you get signed off work?

I'm the same. told them I'm not willing to work longer then 6 hour shifts. and when I get uncomfortable sat down I just close up and go walk around x

@zozo87 I know it's so frustrating my work is taking the piss a bit I'm suppose to leave work at 36 weeks but the last week I'm working in the only full time person in all week with 1 part time girl and. I buyer so I'll be doing everything!! I can't afford to start maternity leave sooner so that's why I wanted to take my holiday first

Maternity leave cannot be enforced by your employer until week 36. Until then u can either be signed off or take leave of your still off by week 36 it is automatically triggered then hope this helps

@weddingbaby2016, I think the only difference would be the pay and when you want to start your maternity leave. but I know they say to you take your holiday before your maternity leave

@abbiiqx @suzie80 @zozo87 the Dr has signed me off and apparently it won't change my maternity date, I'm going in to work today to sort out my pay then xx
