feeling frustrated and unsure of what to do bc I had my baby shower yesterday and was expecting a friend to be there and she didn't show but told me she got me a gift. the issue is she's hinted at getting me the diaper bag I want and had told me not to get it bc someone might get it but idk when she's gonna bring by the present and I need a diaper bag and if she didn't get it I need to order one but it's expensive and I don't wanna order it and she already got it but it's getting close and I need to start packing it. idk what to do.

Nicely tell her! Just be like "hey so you told me you got me the diaper bag, & well im getting super close so i need to pack asap. You think we can meet up sometime this week, but if you didnt get it. Its ok. Just let me know & ill purchase :)

I've learned you can't rely on people who prove to be unreliable. I would just buy it yourself and if she ends up giving you the one you wanted just take one of them back. Better to know you have the one you want then just waiting for her to maybe bring it by. Trust me the waiting and frustration will just drive you nuts!!

@yesenia13, well she never said she got it she's only hinted at it. she's usually an extremely reliable person so idk what's going on.

@michelle2220, ohhh i see !! You should just tell her "when shes free to hang out." & take it from there.. If not do what @kaseylyn suggests buy one, & save receipt... I wouldnt order online though.

@yesenia13, it's from Nordstrom and I have a credit card there so I wouldn't have any issues returning it. I just told her now that we need to hang out so I hope she gets back to me. I just hate anxiety. @kaseylyn ugh yes and I never know when it's gonna happen and it's almost time and I need a new one bc the one I have is old.
