it really depends. it can last hours or a few days. you will know because it will be a lot more painful than normal period cramps and a lot heavier of a flow with big clots
I've had two miscarriages (May, 26, 2016 and August, 11, 2016) and I bled a lot and it was painful worse then Period cramps I cried the entire time because it was so painful and I knew what was happening and with my second miscarriage I saw the little baby in the toilet and my heart just broke but you'll know when and if you have a miscarriage cause its worse then a period and you bleed a lot
