I gave my baby formula for the first time today just to test it out. He is more content and happy now than ever. I have been breastfeeding him since I had him and he was on my boob constantly sometimes for hours at a time. I feel he isn't getting enough or he would be content at least a hour throughout the day. I am switching to formula. any thoughts?

You could always do both, nurse first then give some formula, if you wanted

I am doing the same thing giving him boob during the day and formula at night but he took right to the boob after he was born then he was introduced the bottle in the nursery while he was fighting a small infection but it was boobie milk and then when we got home it seems like my milk comes and goes like he drinks me dry and it takes me a couple of days to get more built up but he nurses like a champ on both

My dr recommend 30 min boob min then 2 oz of formula after
