I'm 6 weeks along now, or so they think. I had the nexplanon implant for 5 months, and had it removed a week after I found out I was pregnant. Has anyone had a similar situation?

I got pregnant on Nexplanon.

Apparently, Nexplanon has never been formally tested on those that are overweight. I had to have kidney surgery, and had extreme weight fluctuations. It caused the implant to move, making it ineffective.

I will never do the implant again! I thought I'd done all this research and had made a good choice. But, all its done is wreak havoc on my body, and I STILL got pregnant. I'm mostly just concerned, because I know the risks of ectopic pregnancies are higher. I just wanted to know if there were any other issues regarding the babies born while their mothers are on nexplanon.
