if you have dealt with a child who was lactose intolerant please read and comment if this could be it.
my daughter turned one sept 1. she had her one year check up that day and got her shots. she had a small yeast infection this day but i got the ok to try whole milk by doing half n half. sept 2. i tried it out she seemed to do alright. well by sept 3 she had bad diarrhea and fevers. i figured her belly just needed to adjust to it. her butt started to become very red and sore she was in a lot of pain by the 7th. her dr told me to try soy milk. but i decided before trying different milks i would give her butt time to clear up so i quit and did just formula when i did her bottle. that weekend her butt was still pretty sore so i took her to urgent care, because of having a yeast inf and diarrhea it made it 10x worse. i was given a new cream and told to continue doing just formula for now. so i did and it cleared up. soon after she got really sick. fevers, cough, contant crying...i ended up taking her to er. they told me it was just a virus. ok. she soon felt better minus the cough..i gave her almond milk one day and she did great with it and loved it. i ended up buying some organic whole milk to try. this time i only did 1/4 whole milk the rest formua. and she did alright at first then she started puking randomly. sometimes while eating certain things, other times while coughing. sometimes after drinking the bottle. i called the dr but they werent able t get her in this past week. today she had dry cereal and bananas for breakfast. she puked it up while still eating. lunch she had a gerber meal with mac n cheese and veggies. and some almond milk. for dinner we had potatoes, salisberry steak, and stuffing. she loved it. then i gave her. her allergy med that she takes before bed and i went to get her dressed (almost an hour after eating) and she threw up her whole supper. she doesnt act like she is in pain. no fever....im just so confused whats going on. is it her still getting over being sick, teething, lactose intolerant....ugh. im just kind of over having to guess. trying to get her into the dr this week. help please..i know you arent doctors but has anyone dealt with something similar?

*also side note she had acid reflux bad as a baby and was on zantec until 9 months and one nutramigen formula. im out of formula, have enough for maybe a 4oz bottle. i dont want to get more but at the same time i dont know whats going on..

Ah most likely it is but the diarrhea thing isn't. Ask about the goat milk on Tuesday. I almost had to do that with my son

It sucks that no one responded. I didn't see this until now but my son had minor milk issues but my friend does goat milk for her son! Ask your doctor but it's the next best thing low sugar as well
