Ladies..... I went to urgent care yeterday with my mom bc she has a nasty cold, and the Dr. was telling us how a study has shown that too many Ultrasounds can cause Autism!!? I am over here kinda of worried now, just bc i have to get Ultrasounds every 2/3 weeks due to my Cervix issue.😟😶 Can someone ease my mind, or has anyone of you heard of such a thing ?.......

With my first my doctor all way did an ultrasound to make sure my daughter was okay because of all the pain i was having and she is fine. he is a happy healthy 1 year old.

I have to get ultrasounds every two weeks. I hope this isn't the true case. I think the baby should be fine.

This Is absolutely not true. I had to get ultrasounds once a week for the past 8 weeks and I was worried that the ultrasound waves could have some impact on my baby, so I asked my high risk doctor, whos been doing ultrasounds for over 16 years now, and he said that theres no way the ultrasounds rays could have any effect on your child, they are in no way harmful at any any point in pregnancy and have never shown to be the cause of any mental or physical defect in infants. So dont worry about it. Doctors are always looking for something to blame for autism, and unfortunately that doctor gave you bad information.
