Yeah they can and if they can do it once they tend to flip back get on all fours today that helps. I had my first go transverse painfully at 38 weeks

@suzie80, thank you so much for answering Hun, it was since yesterday, I woke up with my normal bump but then since lunch time onwards it's been a wide shape and I'm so much more uncomfortable, thanks I'll hang over the side of the couch or something lol! I have two weeks till section so it would be nice for her to go back to where she was lol at least I'm not having a normal birth and worrying about position for that reason xxxx

Oh if your having a section I wouldn't worry too much. U can try the spinning babies techniques and all fours and the ball. But watch your posture, as she may have shifted due to how u lay or sit. My first was cos I was on bed rest in hospital and always laying down, she just popped out and omg it hurts. My fourth was transverse oblique till 37 weeks and painfully flipped back. Our tummies are not made for much side ways stretching suddenly. It's not so bad if they have always been sideways as u gradually stretch.

@suzie80, it's more because I'm so bloody uncomfortable and back hurts because of it too. I feel like I won't get anything done in my last two weeks, I don't have a birthing ball, not wanting to go out and buy one at this late stage, I can go in all fours see if that helps, I did this yesterday but nothing happened. If u google it , there's different positions and exercises to try and get them to turn again
