I pump for 30 minutes every two to three hours. Is 30 minutes too long ? To short? Perfect ?

@amaperalta03, on average, it takes 10-15 minutes to empty each breast. If you're pumping for 30 minutes, you are likely pumping through two letdown cycles. Are you exclusively pumping? If so, what you are doing is fine. If you are breastfeeding, you may be overstimulating your breasts to produce more than what your baby needs.

@emilyd, I'm exclusively pumping only. I'm trying to build up a stash already. I already have 2 days of milk just was wondering if I was on the right path

5 oz maybe a lil more
