If you're really scared, call L&D. But, feel for fetal movements. There is crazy amounts of padding protecting the baby. You'd have to really be hit with some force.

@rachalexandria, then call L&D. Seriously, that's what they are their for. 😊. You probably flinched and jumped when she smacked you, and that caused you to tense up causing the pain.

You just hurt yourself. One time, I leaned forward too fast and felt a stabbing pain. Could also be your ligaments were stretching anyway and she just hit a sore spot.

I flinch and tense up super fast when people go to touch my belly without my permission and without warning and it causes stabbing an shooting pains all in my stomach. It's probably something like that
