Oh darn then you should definitely test twice a day so you don't miss your LH surge. I didn't know this when I used them but you're not supposed to use them in the morning. The best time is 2pm or at least four hours after you wake up. I started using them when I got ewcm until the day after I got a positive opk so about 10 days for me.

I'm not sure since you're irregular :/ how long are your cycles? Mine can be anywhere between 35 and 41 days. I start 14 days before my next period is supposed to start but I use the shortest cycle if that makes sense. So 35-14 would be cycle day 21.

They aren't that irregular. You should try ovia. I'm using that app right now for baby #3. But I would start on cycle day 17 just to be safe
