Tomorrow my baby is gonna be one. And she has a dr appt where she's gonna get six flipping shots (she's not behind that's just what the pedi says she's getting). Anywho.... I FREAKING THE FUCK OUT!!! I've got bad anxiety and panic disorders and today has been a non stop attack. I don't know what I'm gonna do! I hate Drs and shots. Ugh.

My baby got 6. they asked me do I want to do 3 and do the other 3 when he's 1 and a half I said no. luckily it was pretty quick. He cried but after it everything was back to normal. I believe the worst part was him being pinned down because he don't like that. Asked can they give your baby pain meds before they do the shot.
Give Tylenol before. It'll help w the pain after. And just give love.
I wish I could. But I lose my STAR Medicaid on the 1st and it switches to CHIP and her current pedi doesn't accept it so it's all or nothing tomorrow.
You can ask the dr to split them into 2-3 different appointments if you think 6 at once is too much
@riley0930, hang in there momma. I believe one shot has 2 in one so that's one less needle. I'm so glad I split my sons. The WIC asked me if I wanted to give him 3 shots he needed last month and thank god I did. 6 shots is a lot. Now at urs one year check up he only gets 3 more that's it plus the flu shot.
