True or false: A baby can be exclusively breast fed until they're a year old with no issues, because food before one year of age is "just for fun". My mom tried to tell me how wrong I am, but yet agrees with me when I say I am not going to force feed my child solids, and when he decides he wants them, great. How the fuck does that make sense?

that is true. and she is basically saying you're ridiculous for not introducing solids yet If he refuses them then fine. feed your baby how you see fit. it's no one's business.

true, true, true. did that with our son,and he's 29m abs so on the boob ALL THE TIME if he could be. it doesn't lose nutrition either, it only adjusts to what they need at each latch. the areola detects it. ie if they're more thirsty your breast milk will be watery; if baby is more hungry there will be a higher fat content.
sorry for my vent, I've heard that before, and wanted to share that fun lil 'shut them up' answers. or you continue to drink cows milk and you're an adult- did that milk lose any nutrition just bc you're no longer a child? or that broccoli? no- didn't think so- 🤔🤔😉😉

True! Lol @renelakhlifi and I've introduced solids since he was 5 almost 6 months old. I try just about every day and he's just not into it. @nicemmcha2015

my son wasn't, even daddy tried feeding him and he said no. but as sin add he was 11 1/2 months he wanted to be like us. and wanted to eat. also mind you @babyjjsmommy the gag reflex is good- keeps navy from choking. use lots of juice and try b.l.w. it's awesome!

Oh yeah I've been attempting that method and he's becoming more interested in bringing the food up to his mouth just unsure of the taste. @renelakhlifi he spits everything out 😂

And I have the same issue. He won't even take a bottle for anyone else, so it's horrible when I'm at school/ work he just won't eat. So then he cluster feeds the rest of the dayz

my guy is 29mo and still have him on my bewb off he could all day like I said. and I love the comments I get from my mom and my grandmother.. smh. so yes if you plan on extending your breastfeeding journey- I'm sure your mother will have an opinion. 😥😥😑🤔😉😁😂
