Another mother Inlaw rant I need some advice! My son is a week old and he's the first grandchild on both sides. I understand as a grandma she wants to see him all the time. She took 2 weeks off of work when I told her not too cause I'll be fine at home alone with him. There was no need. Well she comes over unannounced all the time. Everytime she comes im either pumping and about to feed him or we're taking a nap. I mostly hangout in our bedroom and watch tv, that's where I pump. I always have my apartments door locked. So my hubby lets her in and she walks in our bedroom when I'm pumping pretty much half naked and takes my son away from me.. & tells me I'm going to regret giving him a pacifier cause she let her kids suck on their fingers and also tells me when and when not to pump and how to properly burp him and I'm burping him just fine. Like she has too be in control of everything I do as a mother yes I'm a young mother but I know what I'm doing. I try and tell her a nicely as possibly that you can take away a pacifier but not their thumb and also try and tell her that I'll bring him out when I'm done and she doesn't understand that. My hubby understands that I need my privacy and that she doesn't need to see him every single day. But when she shows up unannounced you have to let her in. I don't know what to do..
