I don't know of any of u Girls remember me posting about my son being bitten at nursery on his chest and was so bad he needed injections and anti biotic follow up care. well the minute I walked in to pick him up today the staff shook Thier heads saying I would hate them, again today he was bitten by a different child to last time. he was in a little times car and another child tried taking it off him, he said no and the other child bit him they were unable to intercept in time but said he didn't provoke the attack at all. this is his second nasty bite in 3 months I don't know what to do!! pic of new bite here and old one in comments x
sorry. I use to be a nursery nurse myself and taking the child.out of nursery isn't the answer sorry. it can happen in every nursery. u need to have a word with the manager and put the little. boy /boys onto a behaviour chart and monitor his biting behaviour times of day etc and they will find what is triggering it. and they need a member of staff over them all the time. their parents need to be informed. xx
Take him out of that nursery!!! If my boy ever come home like this I would hit the bloody roof!! Would be taking people's heads off!!
is he in a vets or a nursery? sorry what sort of parents do these children have!! i would defo change the nursery ! xx
@h04, @mother_of_humans it's so sad he hadn't been there long and made some really good friends I just booked him in for more sessions as baby is here in 4 weeks I don't want him having lots of change at once. it's so hard my partners cousin also works there in the older room so I'm torn. I am going to start looking into other nursery's again and made a point if anything happened again that meant he wasn't being safeguarded properly I will take further I'm keeping all evidence xxx
@tasia-matrasia, it was poor boy still having treatment now from it I just don't know how it can happen to same child.twoce !! xx
@georgiegiirl, some children do bite which is incredibly wrong but if you take him out of that nursery how do you know if there's not gonna be a biter at the new nursery! However, if the nursery staff aren't dealing with it properly such as incident reports, talking to all the children and behaviour management then that's poor and I would suggest moving him if the staff are pour! I worked in a nursery and unfortunately it happens but if the staff deal with the situation and discuss it with the children it should prevent it from happening again!! Once is too much but twice needs death with!!xx
