The moment you have been induced twice and you realize it looks like a C section is imminent because it keeps failing. Really want to meet my little guy but definitely feel scared.

I completely understand. The first time they mentioned the csection, I was devastated. But the longer I was in labor, the better it sounded. Just try to keep your head up. It's true, once he's here you won't care how he got here☺️ so excited for you. It's the best thing in the world holding your baby for the first time. If you need any advice or anything after on how to have a smooth recovery, let me know.

@jleightutt, at this point it's almost the only option. I'm 36 weeks but having some health issues with high BP, headaches, and low platelet counts so they decided to induce me Tuesday. That failed so tried again yesterday afternoon and it seems that's failing as well. I haven't dilated past a one. I'm nervous for sure about having one but it's to the point that it's the safest thing for us and in the end I will finally have him in my arms so that's what matters. Just definitely not how I pictured my labor going.

Don't stress over a csection. I was so against the thought of it and then after 19 hours of labor and 4 hours of pushing, I was ready for a csection. She was transverse so it just wasn't happening. It wasn't as bad as people had said. I really think being okay with it before was a big part of my recovery. As long as you take your meds and take it easy, you will have a good recovery. Don't stress momma, it'll happen❤️
