@lexirosex3, if you're exclusively breastfeeding baby should and would be fine. I've gotten sick twice since giving birth with the cold and flu and Ethan never got sick. I would breast feed even more so while sick. You breastmilk builds antibodies that protects the baby. It changes to provide the immunity. But at same time hand washing also is important and other protective measures like not sneezing or coughing in your infants face. Feel better.

Nope. I would say you're helping provide antibodies to your baby so if they do catch whatever you have it should have less of an effect on them.

nope even with the flu docs will say keep nursing. Just make sure you wash your hands frequently and wear a face mask if you're very very sick.
