I had the nexplanon for a year and a half and was bleeding a majority of the time and would have hear huge (tmi) flesh like pieces would come out(which I found out was the shedding of my uterus which only happened when I was on the bc) the only good thing is it helped my cramps and I didn't have any other side effects but the whole bleeding thing ruined it for me I was hardly ever NOT bleeding. I've never had the iud but I personally wouldn't get it. When I'm done breastfeeding I will probably get back on the nuvaring

Nexplanon. IUD carried too many risks in my opinion.
