When my baby was 6 days old I brought her to her first appointment to register her at wic and they gave me check for my self like milk bread etc and since I was bf/supplementing they didn't give me formula. Now my baby is over a month old and When they call me to come and get the check for the baby for this month what are they going to give?

Yes but I also use formula too Most of the time during night time. @sophia21hazel01

They will probably push you to breastfeed only and won't want to give you formula.. I breastfed for only one week because I don't have anymore milk. I told them I only wanted to give formula. It all depends on the office you go to, some don't give formula the first month..

@sophia21hazel01, what if I tell that I don't bf anymore? Because even though I nurse all the time my baby seems like she's not getting any fuller and formula is so expensive lol 😓

Just tell them that, just in case you don't want to breastfeed anymore.. I was planning on breastfeeding but I wanted to have the formula as a backup .. and it worked out great because I didn't produce milk anymore.
