pretty sure I'm having Braxton hicks, can someone explain to me what they feel like? just tightening…

yes. your tummy gets really hard! i am definitely not a stranger of braxton hicks! mine are starting to get really uncomfortable now that im 38weeks

I've been having what feels like period cramps, my belly gets a little tight, my doctor said they're most likely Braxton hicks

my doctor says different women experience them differently. some people describe it as a tightening and hardening of the stomach. others compare them more towards period cramps. I myself get this uncomfortable wavy like motion and it kind of feels crampy.

so should I worry about them? I've had a few ,maybe like 4 or 5 in the past 2 and a half hours. is that bad? @reyesmomma

i get them all day long. i dont think there is a need to time BH unless they start becoming painful because that means they are contractions. BH dont hurt they are just uncomfortable

Most Likely it's not something to worry about if it's just braxton-hicks. I get them kind of frequently sometimes too. But I myself worry so I can't really tell you not to worry. I think it's natural for us women to worry about it. @savvylynn1
