Any mommas with little girls that are toddlers, do you ever not wipe them when you change their diapers? My fiancés mom…

We don't wipe my boyfriend's son when he pees, only when he poops and he's always fine. But I feel like it might be different for a girl.

I have a 5-year-old girl. I don't actually wipe her now, but when she regressed in her potty training I would go in and help her clean up. Girls definitely require more than boys in that department. I can't imagine not doing at least a quick swipe.

I don't with my son , but with girls it is very different and I would wipe a girls diaper just because there's more folds and stuff ......

I don't wipe my daughter every time she pees because she has extremely sensitive skin. If I wiped her every time, she would be living with a diaper rash. Her first week home, it was so bad she was bleeding. The pediatrician recommended not to wipe her every time... Pee is sterile, so they wont get an infection or anything... and diapers keep them pretty dry. I just wipe her extremely well after she poops and check and make sure she doesn't have any residue or anything every time i change her diaper. Or if she smells, I wipe her... but yeah, the pediatrician even said it's not necessary to wipe every time.

@ashbabash18, I clean my kids like I clean me. I guess just different strokes for different folks. I didn't always use a wet wipe on Agnet but she got tissue swipes.

You could probably try to put coconut oil on it! My parents put it on my nephew when he has a rash and it clears up in the same day!

At least a moist washcloth just water....

thats like peeing the bed and not washing up. Girl or not they need to be wiped.

I don't wipe my son every time only if he poops but I've never had a girl... When I used to nanny for two infant girls I think I wiped them every time but it sounds like your little might have sensitive skin! Try pampers sensitive if you want to wipe every time. That's what I use and my baby's never had diaper rash.
