Question if i'm dilated to 2 cm does that mean I lost my mucus plug??

i was at a 3 and still haven't lost my mucus plug.

Not necessarily, I was dilated before I lost my mucus plug

I was dilated to 1cm and my doctor said I had lost mine although I had bloody show and mucusy discharge. I asked and she said it was just discharge. Not sure how true it is.
