HELP!! I get a very sharp pain under my ribs on the left side of my stomach. It hurts really bad and I have no idea what it is. I used to think it was because my son was pushing everything up but this time it started earlier than with my first son. When I get the pain I get very hot, dizzy, and nauseous also. I have an appointment on Thursday so I will be asking but I was just wondering if any of you ladies had this also and what was the outcome.

It could be a sign of preeclampsia. Although it's usually on the right side, under your ribs. Definitely mention it to your doctor.

@kenitra, I will. Wouldn't I have high blood pressure or protein in my urine though? My blood pressure is excellent and last time the doctor checked there was no protein in my urine.

You would but sometimes it just happens very rapidly later in pregnancy. You can be fine and then all the sudden not be. Could just be the baby pressing on something though!
