I wanted this too. I made a promise to myself that if I didn't get pitocen I'd go without the pain meds. unfortunately he was in distress so my plans changed. but I did make it to an 8 without an epidural and it was turned off at 10

Yeah. I wanted that too. I wanted no drug intervention. Then we went past our due date and he was huge. Go induced. Went to 6cm before I got the epidural. Then at 8cm we decided to do a c section because he wasn't dropping in to place and my bp was all over the place. It wasn't my birth plan but everyone was safe and happy.

I was this mom with my son. my daughter was awful and now I am having another girl and I was like ummm can I do this?

you ladies are strong. im going to a midwife now and telling God this is what i want. at first i didn't even desire this but now im determined... i know you ladies didn't get that plan but ultimately had a happy ending and soo much knowledge to share...you guys are awesome @nwhite0823 @valrocks @mum2logi

I had my second son like that. I honestly think this time around taking a birthing class helped sooooo much! Helped me learn how to breathe and things I could do to ease the contractions. First baby I was done with having kids after him lol but 4 years later this experience was easier and it's totally achievable so good luck!
