Question lovely ladies, out of you who intend to or are bottle feeding their baby's, did any of you give your baby the first feed or two after birth from the breast and then start bottles? I would like to try and give her the first feed or so but I'm not wanting to breast feed after that. Personal choice, and I know there'll be lots out there that will say breast is best etc but it's just how I want to do it, I'm just interested in anyone who has done this and how they found it? Xxx

Im bottle feeding this time round and will be syringing the colostrum to give to the baby in the beginning along with formula. (its the best part) :) x

No I will ask for a syringe or buy my own before hand as all you need to do is squeeze your boob and suck the drips before you fully produce milk @hawkie75

@tiffany84331, oh right thanks I didn't know you could do that lol. I may do that if she doesn't latch on, I was going to see if she'll latch on for First feed maybe, i just don't wavy to carry on really. Cheers x
