had a very bad asthma attack lastnight that was building from days ago and me not having my inhaler . so for the past few days ive been walking around short of breathe thinking it will get better because ive never really had an full blown attack before but last night everything in my chest got really tight i couldnt talk or anything just laid in my bed crying gasping for air i called my mom when i couldnt talk to her and she heard me wheezing and crying sje called 911. it took 5 hrs to clear out my lungs 5 20 min breathing treatments and 3 rounds of steriods . just got releases this morning and have to go get seen by my doctor and pick up a new stronger inhaler and more steriods in pill form to take once a day for the next 3 days because i have some fluid in my chest still. baby girl was checked and is completely unbothered 👏🏾💞🎀 but i must use my inhaler every few hrs and my pills once a day as told to prevent another until the fluid is gone

girl I'm glad you're okay don't ignore those symptoms. .. I never had ashma until this pregnancy ( I guess is hormones idk) but it's the worse thing ever i get really bad attacks . hope you feel better . take your meds lol ( I know I'm sounding like your mama) get rest !!!

@green_smilezz, yes the steriods but to many steriods coukd cause early labor which is why they spreaded the doasge out amd stopped after 3 rounds if i didnt have them my lungs would have fully collasped and that would could have sent me into a coma if they did ger them back working soon enough . and baby would have to have been delieverd only being 1 pound . i did have small contractions and they checked her too around the clock !! bout time i could breathe without the mask they stopped . but she had a strong heart rate and was active the whole time .

@myramercado, same here this pregnancy brought really kicked it up . ive had it but so small because ive never had an attack and havent used an inhaler in years. up until now with this pregnancy its horrible . and its okay you dont sound like my mom
just someone whos trying to help . and your right i wont ignore those symptoms ever again !! and i will rest today for sure

Omg that sounds horrible asthma is nothing to joke with. Sometimes ppl take it lightly because they don't have it so bad. But it can get really serious at any point in time if your not careful😕. I'm sorry you went through that glad you and baby are ok!
