Googling questions can be scary, check out some trusted parenting websites like KellyMom (a top pick from moms who’ve been there) or Parents.
Don’t forget to look at blogs! Pregnant Chicken truly keeps pregnancy funny. You’ll love Amy Morrison’s wit and humor. The “Best Of” section is perfect for new moms.
3️⃣ Favorite parenting books
If you’re more of the attachment parenting type, The Baby Book by Dr. William Sears and Martha Sears is a keeper. And he and his wife have many other books in their collection, such as The Breastfeeding Book, The Premature Baby Book and The Fussy Baby Book (good one for first time moms).
Another great find is actress and comedian Jenny McCarthy’s Belly Laughs, which puts pregnancy into perspective with laughs and the naked truth with those 40 weeks.

Moms also said they loved reading baby books out loud while pregnant because it helps them bond with baby and ease their anxiety. You’ll feel close to your little one, and your baby gets to hear your voice - it’s never too early to read to your kids! The Wonderful Things You Will Be by Emily Winfield Martin is a popular book about dreams, acceptance and the love parents have for their children, and Good Night Moon by Margaret Wise Brown is a bedtime classic.

Meet new moms like you at your neighborhood prenatal fitness class, moms club, or hospital or birthing center support group. If you have a specific interest, such a twins and multiples or babywearing, seek out those groups online and in your city.
