@sandraa10616, I'm a type 2 diabetic, and although the pregnancy went well. she didn't want to risk my chances of developing pre eclampsia. but she said it's normal and ok to deliver at 39 weeks.

I had my baby at 39 weeks and 1 day, I was scheduled for induction at 39+3. my doctor told me they can schedule induction anytime after the 39 week mark. I definetly would ask, I mean it wouldn't hurt. all they could say is no.

The longer baby bakes the better! I was a day shy of 42 weeks and had a nice chunky baby with no complications. Fully developed 8lb14oz

More than likely not, but you got this momma! The last month is the worst but a positive mindset helps everything! So does a pool of you have one you can still access and sleeping with multiple pillows between your legs (helps open up pelvis so baby can move down and apply pressure to help dilate you) 😊
