I didn't expect to get pregnant at 18. I was on birth control so I thought the chances were slim.

But I did get pregnant at 18 and still in high school. And it was a stressful pregnancy. From some complications with my insurance to complications with my baby.

I struggled with self confidence. I thought people would think negatively of me. I got great grades at school. I was a nerd. I was a goody good.

But once I saw my baby's face, and felt him moving, everything changed. It didn't matter to me what others thought. And I lost a lot of friends. But they don't deserve to know this little piece of sunshine ☀️. When I first held him, I knew this is where God wanted me. I'm a young mom. And I'm proud. 💪🏼
