I know people who have failed the one hour but passed the three hour on

Did you eat anything with sugar that morning or late the evening before? That can definitely impact the results. Either way, some people fail the first and pass the second. Even if you do wind up with GD, it's temporary and will go away after birth. Good luck!!

usually they tell u to not eat or drink 12 hrs before the test..that morning if your appt ia early only drink the glucose test*don't drink. anything else not even water and needs to be finished in 5 min.so when u go to your appt they have to to test u exact 1 hr from time u finished it.i had mine 2 wks ago and did pass..I had the drink in my fridge for 30 days the organge flavor tastes like a flat orange fanta at least was cold..but had me a bit shakey feeling:/

@whitneykemm, @sherrynygirl I didn't eat anything that morning and my dinner was at 6pm the night before. I did drink water, maybe this time i wont. Im so nervous, i don't want to harm my baby.

@rmarte, I'm very confident your baby will be fine. The docs time this test to ensure that if you do have it, there's plenty of time to adjust diet and things to get the GD under control with no harm to your child. I had a friend that had it and she just gave birth two months ago to a very healthy baby boy. He was right at 8lbs too, so not super big or anything. You're going to be just fine, doll. Don't stress 😉
