Ok so for the past couple of days my feet really hurt when I stand up and start walking after ive been sitting or resting. The skin on them feels like its being pulled on and theyre tender to put pressure on too. My feet dont look swelled up as far as me and my fiance can see but theres definitely something off. So my question is, what do swollen feet actually feel like? I kinda feel like when I walk my feet feel kinda like water balloons almost in the sense where it feels like ive got water balloons or gel pads stuck to the bottoms and sides of my feet, but its painful to put pressure on them. Ive never felt this before so its got me mildly worried especially since ive noticed a little bit of swelling in my fingers that comes and goes and makes it impossible to get my rings off. So i was just wondering mostly if the combination of the two sounds like something i should ask my doctor about, with me already being high risk.

If you're high risk I would recommend talking to your doctor about it. When my feet swelled up with my first son they hurt so freaking bad (then again, I got really badly sunburnt too so that probably had a lot to do with it). some say it's relatively normal for feet to swell but if your hands are swelling up too you may need to be monitored closer.

I'd ask your doctor swelling plus other symptoms could be signs of preeclampsia or other pregnancy complications
