Hey moms,
It's been a while since I've been on here. But I need help. My son just turned one and all of a sudden he has been waking up at night screaming and won't stop unless I'm holding him. We never had this problem before. It makes it even harder is the fact that my fiancé gets mad and makes me take our son into the living room so he can sleep. I feel like I am doing a lot of this by myself just so he doesn't have to be "bothered" with this kind of things. If anyone has any ideas of what may be going on with my DS or ways to help with the waking up problem please let me know.

@kathale95 not that i know of except time
maybe a night light
soothing mobile again
my son did it
most grow outta them after a short period of time if it gets really bad id ask the doctor.
just dont get frustrated hubby getting upset will not help them

@mama_icie, I try to tell him that getting mad isn't going to help and that him waking up is part of what you go through to be a parent and he just gets mad at me.

@kathale95 yes ma'am definitely they go thru that not all kids get it but alot do hes just gonna have to pull up his big boy daddy britches and build a bridge and get over it cuz night terrors are no fun for a young child. stay strong momma and just keep reassuring the lil one and hubby can sleep on couch downstairs lol

my daughter did that starting at around 1...she was teething...getting 4 molars at once. once they popped through she was better.
