Hey mommies! I haven't been on here in months, but I have a question. I need some reviews/advice or opinions on a car seat / travel system.
So my LO will be 6 months on the 28th of this month and her infant seat is getting pretty snug and I am looking into getting her a new one. I currently have the britax b safe elite 35 2016 car seat with the b agile stroller. And, I LOVE IT!!! Absolutely no complaints at all. I will keep the stroller. But her car seat, like I said is getting a little snug and about time for something new.
Now, it's been a little over 10 years since I had my first and I can't exactly remember how I did this. I've been researching endlessly online also. What I have found is that at 6 months she can upgrade to a "convertible rear facing" seat? So these seats go from rear facing to then front facing and some also go up to a booster seat? Ok, that sounds like a great investment BUT looking at these convertible seats they look too big and advanced for my little baby 😢 she still seems like she should be in the infant car seat! Any recommendations on the best choice for our next safety seat??
Thanks ladies! xo
We have the maxi cosí pria 65 and love it! We have had it since she was born at 6.5lbs. It comes with a new born insert that makes it really comfortable for even smaller babies. It's really soft. She's going to be four soon and still loves it. You can rear face it up to forty pounds I believe.
⁉️🚘🚘Car Seat Decisions💺💺⁉️
Infant Car Seat or Convertible Car Seat?
I am undecided. I have preferences but I'm confused.
I wanna hear you guys opinion.
Convertible Car Seats look too uncomfortable for a newborn/infant. Do they rear face?
How old were your babies when you swapped them from a infant seat to a rear facing convertible car seat?
Infant car seat
My daughter is currently in the graco click to connect car seat. She's 4 months old, and 25 inches tall. So soon enough Well have to start looking for a convertable car seat. She gets really mad, and is constantly trying to sit up when were driving. I think her reflux is worse when she's laying down obviously. Is she too little to switch to a convertable?
OT. rant! forward facing early
ok, so in my birth month forum (October 2012) someone posted a picture of their lo riding in the car in a forward facing seat! what???? it baffles me when parents do this. I'm not trying to offend anyone.. but why do ppl do this?? the oldest baby in our birth month is 9 months, she was 3 months premature. but even at 9 months I wouldn't have my child forward facing.
I know we all have our opinions but my child depending on the size. If he/she is out of the infant car seat will be forward facing. Because rear facing ain't the safest either.
we are going with Graco 4-ever
