Me and bubs are home from hospital and he fights the boobs soo much when breastfeeding. 😣😣 he would suck for a bit then start crying, he has a good latch but come off to cry. and now my milk is coming in so my boobs are getting heavy. I hope he gets better at this as the days pass since he's only 3 days old, cuz as much as it hurt I wanna give up on BF but I won't. I'm thinking about bottle feeding Breast milk. Anyone do this? #storyofmylife

sometimes my son wouldn't latch bc he had gas..

Do u pull his chin down to make sure his lips r properly around ur nipple also wait for baby to open big then shove his face into ur boob not ur boob to his face it make a big difference also if u don't have nipple cream on ur boob before latch I sometime use my own saliva on my nipple then touch to baby so he feels the wet nipple bc when they cry hard like that there little mouth lips get really dry fast sounds like u have bad latch don't give up yet it's to early I promise it gets worst before it gets better

@tks020615, if u give into a bottle to soon he is going to get nipple confusion that's why all breastfeeding consultants say no paci or bottle for at least 1 month or your almost setting yourself up for failure and making it harder than what it is. My ins offer 5 sessions to have a consultant to come to my home I would check ur ins and try to get some help ur baby will thank u later best of luck

try pumping a bit to see how much milk you actually have. also, watch your diet. something you eat might give milk a strange taste that he doesn't like.

@txyogagirl, I use a nipple shield anyways which is like a pack nipple so I Dunno. lol. and @concrete my milk literally just came in this morning lol. so imma keep giving him the boobs. don't want to pump to soon cuz I don't want to produce too much milk in the long run.

What is a pack nipple ?@tks020615 I have seen the shields but never used them I was feeding within 45 min of his birth and he did great thank god so I have not used any special shield etc
