my husband's friend just text him and said , "be dressed when y'all come into town tonight because we are going out.". 1. ummm you were just with them last night . 2. how did you not know if I wanted to do something with you tonight? 😒
I think moms get the short end of the stick because dads can just up and do whatever, whereas I have to take our son everywhere I go. that annoys me.

Just reverse the situation on him and tell him you already made plans so he has to watch the baby. Make him (even for just a moment) see what you go through.

@teambarnes girl, our son will cry his head off the whole time. he's only four weeks and I'm still on leave so of course he's more attached to me than him because I'm here with him. he's here most of the time but when he gets home from work, he's up maybe a few hours then go to bed. last night , it was late when he came home from hanging out with them. I tried to explain this but I don't think he got it.
