Ik ur nt supposed ta get tattoos while ur pregnant... but why???

I didn't know it was against the law ta get a tattoo but they will still sell cigarettes to a pregnant person!! that's ass backwards

your body is more susceptible to infection while pregnant and I was also told that the vibration of the machine can cause labor. Idk how true that is but a tattoo artist told my friend that

It's because some of the ink goes in your blood and that can go to the baby and effect them. But when I was 6 weeks pregnant (didn't know I was pregnant) I got a tattoo and my little girl is perfectly fine

but the ink doesn't go in ur blood does it??? tattoos r only supposed ta penetrate the top layer of skin if u go further it creates scars

the ink doesn't get into your blood. it's the risk of infection and the risk of the stess on your body from the pain is what's harmful. it's not illegal, but 9/10 reputable artists won't tattoo a pregnant woman for liability purposes.
