I've had a bit of a shock this afternoon when changing one of the twins nappies. He had just finished his milk and let out a HUGE long fart (he seemed pleased with himself as he smiled all the way through) and maybe a couple of minutes later did a little poo explosion which is fine.

When I changed him he seemed to have specs of blood in his poo?! There was no blood on his bum when I wiped so it's not a tearing or anything I don't think. He also is absolutely fine, didn't cry in pain or anything and is his happy chappy self.

The only thing I can think of is that he has a cold at the minute and he's probably ingesting a lot of snot which is what it might be. It definitely looked like it, its a bit snotty and stringy. What do you guys think?
