Lol! I didn't get an epidural until about 17hrs into labor. I really didn't want to get one but damn those contractions were god awful! I cried a few times they were that bad. And I was fighting them unintentionally and it was slowing down the dialation process. At that point I was exhausted and was just like yes! Lol. Made the rest of labor great and I pushed for like 8 mins and he was out, made it super easy.

I was in labor for 48 hours. I finally gave in to the epidural when my midwife realized he was face up and sideways and I would need an epidural for a c-section anyways. I had my epidural 10 hours before my c-section so I could at least get a little sleep. I was super bummed that I wouldn't be able to give birth naturally like I had hoped.

Yeah I wanted to atleast try to do it without an epidural but I wanted the option just incase, and they told me it would be better if I had one cause I was fighting the contractions. @emilyd
