alright mommas update time!! So I called the Babies R Us where my crib and dresser were purchased (Nanuet, NY) and they told me that it had been at my local store (Rochester, NY) for almost a week. I called the number they gave me to find out that my items were in fact at that store but they were waiting for me to pick them up... strange because my MIL paid over $60 for shipping and set up... so the manager took my address, name, and phone number so he could set it up from his end. I get a call 20 min later saying the Nanuet store made a mistake. They apparently sent it to TOYS R Us not BABIES r Us (which is located across the street) I didn't think that was a big deal and that they could just send them across the street and then go from there... NOPE!! they said in order for it to get shipped to me it had to be shipped BACK to the distribution center in NJ, then shipped to my local BABIES r us, THEN shipped to me. (I was told this would take upwards of 4 weeks) I call my FIL who immediately calls both babies r us (rochester and Nanuet) and the Nanuet store calls my store and explains to them they have to ship it. my store supposedly didn't know they were allowed to ship 😑😑😑😑😑 so the good news is that in 2 business days they will be calling me to set up a delivery time so my baby's room can FINALLY be finished.
