i keep seeing a lot of people on here saying 6 months is such a long time, and they didn't think it would take this long to get pregnant and a bunch of other stuff. I'm not trying to sound rude at all and I'm sorry if I do but you obviously don't understand a long time, 6 months is not a long time at all. I'm going on a little over a year with nothing and I'm seeing a fertility specialist already because it was recommended. so when you've been waiting as long as i have or as long as others on here, then you can say its been a long time. it sucks seeing a negative all the time trust me i know but come on 6 months is nothing, you have plenty of time still.

We're on month 19! So yup I know the pain. Very much. Omg it took us two months! Felt like forever...: yeah yeah shutup

It takes a healthy couple an average of a year to conceive. If you throw in fertility issues it'll take longer than that. So it bums me out when women are like, "3 months, ugh I'm getting discouraged. " Like wtf? I've been trying since January (thats still not a long time) and still trucking because these things take time.

right! @journeytomommyhood @arose28 ugh 2 months definitely doesn't feel like forever I didn't want to sound rude but god it just hits a nerve like shut the hell up once you've been actually waiting "forever" then we can talk lol I'm sorry its taking you guys so long too, it really sucks 😟
Jasmine·
exactly! @halibug they haven't found anything wrong with me and I've been struggling just like you and everyone else, it sucks and when I see people saying that it kills me
Kay·
Yup #life frfr

if I Dnt conceive this month, it will be 10 month for me and it's very disappointing to me. Srry about all of y'all dolls that it's taking long to conceive
Jasmine·
10 months is longer than 6 or 2 lol so I understand for you too hopefully you can conceive this month @nbedolly

My sister in law has no fertility issues nor does her husband, but it took them 2 years. It took my husband's aunt 10 years with unexplained fertility. If you get pregnant in under a year, that's dang near impressive. Ugh this goes in same basket as, "relax and it'll happen. "

*unexplained infertility

ugh god I hate that! I get that every single time. I hate that just as much and the people that get pregnant in under a year are lucky but it is impressive and I feel like it will take us pretty long, I don't think there is anything wrong with him either @halibug

I completely understand what you saying, but I'm sure you thought at one point that 6 months was long, until you experienced passing it. I'm not trying to be rude, 6 months is honestly when most women start to become worried about it. Although it is normal to take up to a year, everyone's time line is different. Here at this site it is for them to post their feelings on that subject as is it yours, but don't try and act like they don't have a right to say such a thing when they do.
Jasmine·
i never said they didn't have the right, they have the same right as everyone else on here i was just saying it bothered me. i didn't feel much at 6 months, i didn't really worry that much i worry more now since its been a little over a year @soontobemomof4

Wish I lived near you, sounds like we have a lot in common. I know it can difficult when you're just trying and trying, but you haven't complained about it and you're just trying to be patient.
Jasmine·
I've been trying my hardest to be patient and i wish we lived close too! would make things so much easier @halibug

Yes!! Yes yes and yes on soooo many levels!!! Been trying for wellllll over a year and experienced a miscarriage it's definitely annoying to see "3 months trying and thinking about giving up" after trying for sooo long and getting your hopes up for months only to have them crushed by a BFN it is a little tiresome to hear "relax and it'll happen" or "don't think about it and it will work" or my favorite "everything happens for a reason. There's a mightier plan". Just please stop. I understand you mean well and are trying to be supportive but those aren't the things I need to hear. I wish these new ttc ladies would understand that 3 months isn't forever. Trying going 1,3,4 or even 10 years with no luck! Ughhhhhh I know this sounds very rude and I don't mean for it to be at all but after awhile you get worn down mentally and get sick and tired of all of it
Jasmine·
yes!! i know what you mean, i hate hearing all of that because it never makes me feel any better and i know they mean well but hearing "its god plan with what happens" and all that it sucks, @bbmommy

You have to watch out some doctors are about money. I was told I will have to see a fertility specialist and I refuse to believe that. Not only because I had 3 natural and healthy pregnancy my youngest is 9 and I started birth control right after. I now believe something's aren't ment for ur body. I was off my bc for over two years no period just a mess, I was sad I cried I stressed and then one day I said I'm done with it all when it's ment to happen it will my body needs time to get right after no period for over 9 years what do you expect. After I did all that stop worrying and stressing here I am today with a positive pregnancy test! Just hoping all works out. Keep faith and just know them fertility drugs mess with ur body.
