Well ladies, I finally had the baby! I've been MIA for awhile on here, sorry. but anyways here's my labor story. I was supposed to be induced 9/22, but I ended up going to the hospital 9/21 because I was having contractions. I was still 5CM. around 7:30AM on 9/22 they started me on Pitocin. my contracts weren't that frequent or strong but they recommended I get the epidural because he was estimated 9lbs 7oz, and they said I would either end up needing a csection or they would have to do different things if his shoulders got stuck, so I got the epidural.... it had to be done twice and didn't work either time! while the doctor was doing the epidural the second time I started to get horrible pressure back yo back and the nurse kept telling me I was only 7CM, I still have time. I kept telling her I have to push so the doctor checked me and said I was only at 8CM and if I push now I will rip my cervix. so of course I'm yelling and still trying to push. I gave one big push and his whole head came out! the doctors weren't ready yet either lol but they pulled him out the rest of the way. I got no stitches, my cervix is fine.
