On May 29th from the time I got up I felt like I needed to poop, but I couldn't. Around 2pm or so I went to my neighbors for a cookout, while over there I got to where I couldn't hardly sit completely down. I still felt like I had to poop, so I went to the bathroom, but I still couldn't. My parents decided to take me home. When we got to the house I decided to bounce on my exercise ball for about an hour and then I went walking with my mom and friend. While walking I was slowly moving, which was very unlike me compared to our other daily walks. My mom and friend Jessica kept telling me to go to the hospital to get checked because they said I could be in labor, but I kept refusing because I didn't want to drive an hour to the hospital just to be sent home. On the way back to the house from walking I had finally gave in and decided to go to the hospital. Jessica went to take a quick shower and I loaded my bags and tinleys bags into the vehicle just in case they would keep me. When we arrived at the hospital they had me change into a gown and pee in a cup, then they came in and hooked me up to the monitors. As soon as I was hooked up it was showing that I was having intense contractions, but I wasn't feeling them. The nurse decided to check me, but I wasn't dilated just thinned out. I just knew they were going to send me home, but I was definitely wrong! They came back in and said that my urine showed some protein in it, they tested it a second and it was even higher. They told me they was admitting me and I would have to do a 24hr urine collection. The next night after I completed the urine collection they came and got the jug to take an test. After about an house the nurse came in and said it was higher than the night before so they were keeping me and was going to start the induction process. They started me out with cervidal, which is for 12 hours. Once the 12 hours was over they checked me again, and sadly I hadn't made any progress so they inserted the cervidal again. Of course another 12 hours went by and still nothing so they said they would do one more. Another 12 hours and I had made it to a 1 I do believe. They then decided to insert a pill that is only a 4 hour long thing, but I didn't have no change so they inserted another. After the second one I was dilated to a 3, and she was able to break my water. As soon as she broke my water I automatically went to a 4. After about 10 minutes I started to finally feel contractions and they were so painful. I had planned to go all natural, but I caved and got the epidural. After about 30 minutes from getting the epidural I couldn't feel anything. I was in and out of sleep. Tinley's heart rate started to drop so the nurse came in and helped me to my side. The mid wife that was on shift wouldn't let me try pushing, she just continued to have the nurses switch me from side to side. I then had to be out on oxygen. I had went back to sleep. I then wake up and as soon as I do I see the doctor. My heart instantly sank because I just knew I was going to have to have a csection and that was the one thing I didn't want. He told the midwife he wanted to see the print outs of my contractions and where Tinley's heart rate kept dropping. She didn't want to get them for him, but when she did and he saw them he was beyond pissed that she let me lay that long with Tinley's heart rate dropping. He then came over and told me that I had one chance to push Tinley out or I was getting a csection. They already had the operating room ready for me. I started pushing and of course Tinley's heart rate dropped again. He had me to stop for a minute then let me push again. In three pushes Tinley was out. Her cord was around her neck so tight he couldn't hardly get his finger between it and her neck, it also had a knot in it! Jessica said as soon as Tinley came out she thought she was dead, because she was blue/purple. I tore slightly but only had maybe 6 stitches. She was born Thursday June 2, 2016 at 6:02am.
