My Birth story!

At about 11pm on April 15th 2015 at 38+4 weeks I started having back pain, didn't think to much about it. I thought I had to poo so I went to the bathroom but instead I was bleeding. Not mucus plug bleeding, but period bleeding. so I called my on call nurse, I emailed a picture of the blood. she than told me I needed to go in ASAP. All this is happening while home alone, my husband was in the field training (he was in the Army) he was suppose to be gone two weeks without a phone. So I called a friend who lived 45 minutes away. she rushed over, we went into L&D and they monitored me. I was only at a 2. they were going to let me go but my contractions took a turn for the worse. I heard alarms and beeping and in ran 6 doctors and suddenly I'm signing papers and being put into a room, all while trying to get ahold of my husband. Finally got hooked up to an IV with pitocin and 4+ hours later in walks my husband, battle face paint and all. 8+ hours later they checked me and I was only at a 3. they broke my water, I heard "blood, its all blood" I than moved to a 7 and got my epidural. 4 hours later, no dilation. my son was monitored internally with a heart monitor. his heart rate dropped super scary low. he his head stuck and it was cutting of oxygen to his brain. I was than woke with a paper in my fave saying "sign this or your baby could die, you need a c section" without hesitation it was signed and they wheeled me away. I puked the whole way to the OR. At 3:28am on April 17th 2015. my 6lb 10oz little boy was born. healthier than ever. Without that c section I wouldn't have him here. #csectionmom
