How does the doctor check if you are effaced or dilated & when do they start checking you for that?

They stick their fingers in your cervix. And mine started at 35 weeks

it's uncomfortable more than anything.

Im really sensitive in that area but I'm gonna be pushing a baby out of there so i need to stop being a baby myself lol

@mariahamiyah29, my cervix has always been sensitive so it was super painful for me with both babies. during labor they did it so much it hurt bad enough to where I refused to let them do it anymore. it felt like digging a q tip in an open wound over and over.

Ugh that's definitely going to be me! Cause I'm so sensitive and such a baby. I'm so nervous!! I'll be 28 weeks this sunday.
