so I feel like a horrible mother last night my poor baby had a slight temp and her mouth was hurting so I was giving her some Tylenol and she inhaled it and started choking it scared the living hell outta me she couldn't clear it and I could hear her distress I was so scared I immediately turned her over and gave her firm pats on her back about 5 times and I heard a garggled cry and felt relief she started screaming but I could hear her starting to breath easier so I just cuddled and loved her she was drooling a little more so I kept an eye on her until she was completely back to normal I thought my heart was going to explode

Rant! My sitter used cottonelle wet wipes on my baby! Now she has huge rash!!! I totally get that my SO forgot to put the wipes in her diaper bag. But she could have told one of us and we could have brought her some or she could have went to the store and I could pay her back. I don't get it. She buys her clothes and toys, takes her places while I'm at work. The store is literally a 5 minute walk from her house. But she decided cottonelle wipes are ok? Ugh. Rant over.

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

Do you guys think spanking a 2 year old is okay? Because I use to spank my 2 year old, but I started to notice that she started to be scared of me and that just hurt my heart, so I no longer do that and she loves me so much more, but her dad scares her because with him she gets spankings for every little thing she does and she cries like crazy when she goes with him, so what should I do if her dad doesn’t want to stop spanking her?

FTM problems... So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It's making me sad. Like I wish I could quit my job and be home with her.
