#mySO and I were best friends since we were 13 years old. His neighborhood was right next to mine. We'd play card games on the bus ride home, spend summers exploring the lakes and woods, and making each other laugh! We both had feelings for each other, but were too scared to do anything about it. We lost touch intermittently after high school, following each other on social media, with no real interactions... but we reconnected when we were 27 years old. These have been the best days of my life! He's truly my missing piece, and more. We became pregnant immediately after we got married (surprise!) and it just gets better every day. He's supportive, considerate, still makes me laugh on bad days, and I can see already the dad he will become to our little girl.
