Why does my child only sleep an hour max in his bed or not even that... I can't wait till he starts…

Do you swaddle? If not try it! It was a lifesaver for me.

I had stopped because he seemed like he didn't like it but his dad told me to keep trying to do it and wrap him tighter. he always wakes right up when I put him in there cause he can feel me but if he's swaddled I noticed he can't feel me moving him as much and he doesn't have my body heat right next to him and his dad said that's probably why he wakes up too. So I'm going to keep trying it. It worked a little last night. I guess I should of listened to my ex sooner lol I guess I should give him more credit he has done this twice before 😏 @sgarland

Kids are trial and error! I should have listened to my momma every time she said "kids don't come with handbook" lol. My son hated swaddling at first, because he is so active and always wanted to move but I'd swaddle him real tight, rock him for a couple minutes till he calmed down(cause he got pissed) and he would sleep so good! I ended up having to wean him off the swaddle because he got to where he wouldn't sleep without it. Also if you suck at swaddling like I do, look into the swaddleme sacks..they have Velcro on them! I was so thankful for whatever angel got that for us at the baby shower lol

Haha they definitely don't! And my son is the same he's such a wiggle worm. But I sucked at swaddling at first now I got it down and he is snug as a bug lol I actually wrap him in two just because it's tighter that way. And he can always get his arms out @sgarland21
