Just an update...I've had the cervidil inserted for about 7hrs have another 5 to go... but I was having contractions 20minutes apart before they started it. About an hour into it the contractions are much stronger and about 5-10min apart... so I may not need a second dosage. I just want to go to sleep in the meantime but this bed is too uncomfortable

Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I don't know whats going on with little Ryder tonight but I am beyond miserable. Earlier today I was standing by the door looking outside when I got a sharp pain in my lower back (left side) and what felt like I was leaking (maybe the size of a quarter) but it was not urine. Then came a lot of pressure round my pelvic area and contractions that were close then far apart, then they just stopped but i still had a little pressure. Ryder was moving around a good bit and i had this jittery feeling. And about an hour ago I was trying to crochet and then the contractions started again and still was everywhere in terms of how far apart. Any idea ladies? I am calling my obgyn in the morning to let her know what was going on just in case she wants me to come in earlier that Tuesday. I live around an hour from the hospital so I absolutely didn't want to make a trip if I didn't have to and since the contractions was happening on and off at odd times I wanted to wait. I just didn't know what to do exactly because i didnt have pains like this or Braxton-Hicks(not saying for sure what these contractions are) contractions with my other pregnancies so this was kinda new for me. Advice and thoughts are welcome!
MIDWIFE BREW UPDATE: I drank the brew and sure enough 2 hours later I started having contractions about 12 minutes apart. I’m now at 5 minutes apart. I’m going to take a bath and try to relax because lord knows if I go into L&D and the contractions subside I’m gonna be pissed 😂😂
